This Girl Can Liverpool ‘IWD’- Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all free activities and sessions promoted as part of the International Womens Day.

  • The offer (“IWD Confirmation Email”) is subject to availability and at Liverpool City Council’s discretion.
  • Minimum age 14 years on the day of participation. Those aged 14-17 years old must have their parent’s permission to take part. Providers may ask for signed parental consent or may ask for a parent/guardian to be present during the activity – please contact the provider for details.
  • Certain activities may be provided for people within a specified age range – please check the activity description on the website for details.
  • Certain Providers may allow people aged under 14 to participate in activities provided for adults – please contact the Provider for details
  • Use of the IWD Confirmation Email is subject to the Provider’s discretion
  • The IWD Confirmation Email is valid for the period of 8th March only.
  • The IWD Confirmation Email must be shown to permit entry.
  • The IWD Confirmation Email is only valid at participating outlets (please see website http://www.cbc034905c1775255d1bd023e-17800.sites.k-hosting.co.uk/thisgirlcanliverpool/free-sessions/ or call 0151 233 4217 for full list). Activities are delivered by a range of Providers.
  • The IWD Confirmation Email entitles an individual to attend any participating activity at no cost as long as they have not attended the activity session at the specified venue for at least 3 months
  • The IWD Confirmation Email entitles eligible users to attend any of the listed activities once at no cost. Further attendance at the same activity will be subject to the usual fee.
  • Users can attend as many different activities as they wish, but only one free visit per person per activity is allowed.
  • Users are welcome to attend the session without appointment but it is advisable to contact the Provider in advance if specific  support is required
  • Users requiring an induction can make an appointment with the Provider to arrange this.
  • In the case that the session is oversubscribed on the day, admission is not guaranteed for health and safety reasons. In the unlikely event this happens, please contact the This Girl Can Liverpool team on 0151 233 4217 to find another suitable activity on an alternative day
  • Please arrive promptly for session start times; late arrival may result in being refused entry to the session.
  • Users must adhere to the individual terms and conditions of the Provider.
  • Users take part at their own risk
  • There is no cash alternative.
  • This does not affect the user’s statutory rights.
  • The IWD Confirmation Email excludes any activities or additional offers from the activity providers that are not listed as part of the offer.
  • Activity Providers are responsible for ensuring that safeguarding, health and safety and other relevant checks are carried out in relation to their staff and facilities. Fit for Me, Liverpool City Council (LCC) and NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group (LCCG) are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or other incidents incurred from taking part in these activities.  Each activity Provider will be providing their stated activity under their own company/organisational terms & conditions, policies, procedures and insurances. Please ask the relevant provider for this information if you require
  • Whilst we endeavour to ensure that all details are correct, LCC and LCCG cannot be held responsible for rearranged sessions or time changes. Participants are advised to check the availability of the chosen sessions for that day.
