International Women’s Day – Thursday 8th March

This year International Women’s Day will be happening on 8th March 2018.

We want to celebrate sport and physical activity for women and girls (age 14+) who live or work in Liverpool by offering the chance to take part in something new for FREE!

FREE Activities on 8th March

For the full day Lifestyles  are offering access to all the centres for Women and Girls who are non-members – an opportunity to try that class you always wanted? or have a dip in the pool during a public swim?

Liverpool City Council’s Physical Activity & Sport Development Team are offering a Walk Leader Training Course.  This course will give you the qualification to lead safe walks in your own community, so why not #pressforprogress with your own qualifications and then encourage others to join you on being active in your community?

British Cycling are offering a Womens Only pop up Cycle ride at Wavertree Mystery – whether you are a keen rider, or a beginnger, come along and join this fun session aimed at encouraging more women to get back in the saddle!

We also have a list of regular sessions that are local community providers will be delivering and are looking for Women and Girls to come along and take part!

So whether you are already active, or if you are just wanting something to kick start your physical actvitity lifestyle – Internation Womens Day 2018 could be just the right thing for you!
