Liverpool Girls let’s do it again this year with This Girl Can!

Following on from its success in 2016, the national campaign ‘This Girl Can’ re-launched on Friday 27th January to encourage women and girls of all ages, sizes and abilities to get active.

With headlines such as “sweating like a pig feeling like a fox” and “I kick balls, deal with it” This Girl Can aims to quash the fear of being judged as a barrier to taking part in physical activity and sport. It seeks to tell the real story of women who are active by using images that are the complete opposite of the idealised and stylised images of women we’re used to watching.

To celebrate the re-launch, and supported by Fit For Me campaign, Liverpool City Council will unveil it’s plans in Spring 2017. In the meantime, you can get involved by:
